Blogs

Today I learned a little more about blogs. I was really excited by how they are being used to connect people to the world. Through the use of blogs, people can learn about just about anything. I think blogging would be especially useful as an informal way to get students writing.

Wikis

After reviewing the information on Wikis I was very impressed with how they can be implemented in schools. It's very exciting to see all the benefits wikis can offer teachers and students. I think that wikis are a great way to keep things organized and on track. I was especially impressed by how some teachers are using wikis and blogs as a way to stay in touch with their students even when they are facing extended bad weather and snow days. I think that wikis are a great tool for modern teachers.
